I love the idea of rubbish being transformed into art. There is quite a lot of this happening in South Africa - sculptures made out of wire or telephone wire, or drinks cans. I was entranced by one which I brought home - an elegant pianist sitting at a grand piano - both made out of strips of beer and coke cans bound with wire. It amazes me how fine and intricate the sculptures can be, like your delicate creature above.
