In addition to the Marianne North Gallery at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, a new gallery (the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art) is set to open in spring 2008, which is sure to delight botanical art enthusiasts. It will be the first gallery in the world that is devoted to botanical art and I am intending on being one of their first few visitors.
